Conservative shaping of the root canal systems without compromising the irrigation and obturation
Course Objectives:
- To understand the importance of the dentin preservation during the shaping of a root canal system.
- To know the impact of the alloy and file’s design on the mechanical behavior of different systems.
- To improve the decision making when facing the shaping in complex cases.
- To review the main features and design of the Protaper Ultimate System.

Dr. Cesar De Gregorio
DDS
Bio:
Dr. De Gregorio received his dental degree from the European University of Madrid in 2006. In 2008, he completed the Endodontic Program at the European University of Madrid with Honors and received the AEDE Best Research of a Graduate Student Award.
He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals along these years after finishing his Graduate Program in Endodontics. He became Assistant Professor of the Department of Endodontics at the University of Washington in 2013 where served as a clinical assistant professor of the department of endodontics and as an endodontist at the Center for Pediatric Dentistry (CPD). At the CPD, he refined his skills and got experience in complex cases of Dental Traumatology.
He served form 2017-2018 as a Board Director of the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT), and currently, he maintains active participation in several committees of the IADT. He serves as a Sub-Director of the Graduate program in Advanced Endodontics at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid-Spain). He performs treatments in his private practice in Madrid, limited to endodontics and Dental traumatology
