Resin Infiltration of Enamel Defects
Course Objectives:
After completing this hands-on course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and diagnose different types of developmental enamel defects using clinical and histological principles.
- Select and adapt the appropriate infiltration protocol based on lesion characteristics and depth.
- Perform the complete infiltration workflow on demineralized teeth, from surface preparation to finishing composites.
- Integrate adjunctive techniques such as bleaching, micro-abrasion, and direct composite bonding to optimize esthetic results.

Dr. Erik-Jan Muts

Bio:
Dr. Erik-Jan Muts graduated from the State University in Groningen (The Netherlands) in 2013 and became a recognized Prosthodontist in 2023 (Fellow of EPA). He specializes in esthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, running his own private clinic MP3 Tandartsen in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Erik-Jan co-founded KARMA Dentistry and recently published his book ‘Infiltration in Daily Practice’.
