Mastering Direct Composite Restorations (Hands-on)
Course Objectives:
- Tooth preparation techniques and selection of bonding technique
- Shade and shape control
- Clinical tips for improving the quality and longevity of direct restorations
Course Program:
09.00 – 09.30 | Participants learn the most important principles for restoring function and esthetics using direct restoratives |
09.30 – 10.00 | Learning the proper preparation of the bevel, the optimal bonding procedure, the layering or bulk filling technique |
10.00 – 10.30 | Understanding the polymerization and characterization options, and finishing and polishing |
10.30 – 11.30 | Dentists will be guided through the entire process of achieving functional and “invisible” direct composite restorations. (Hands-on) |
11.30 – 12.30 | Detailed systematic procedure, as well as tips and tricks, will be performed by each participant during the hands-on session. |

Dr. Anton Lebedenko
PhD
Bio:
Dr. Anton Lebedenko graduated from the Moscow State University for Medicine and Dentistry. During his postgraduate studies, he worked as a researcher in the dental materials department of the same university. In 2003 he published his thesis and received his doctorate. He worked for Ivoclar in Russia until 2011. Subsequently, he relocated to Switzerland and assumed the position of Head of Clinical Prosthetics Global Education at Ivoclar Academy in Schaan, Liechtenstein. He teaches internationally, specializing in dental materials science and the latest clinical techniques.
