Complete Mouth Rehabilitation in Fixed Prosthodontics: An Individualized Approach
Course Objectives:
- Learn how to implement an individualized approach to prosthetically enhance or restore dento-facial harmony.
- Understand the most relevant criteria for treatment planning, vertical dimension of occlusion decision and treatment sequencing in full mouth reconstruction along with setting functional and esthetic guidelines.
- Learn about the selective integration of digital workflow in Prosthodontics
- This presentation will outline an individualized approach to prosthetically enhance or restore dento-facial harmony with fixed complete mouth rehabilitation.
Course Program:
09.00 – 09:30 | Understanding the goal of complete mouth rehabilitation is the long-term restoration and/or enhancement of a functional and esthetic dentition |
09.30 – 10.00 | The selection of the most suitable material among a variety of available materials and techniques might make the procedure even more challenging when trying to restore patients with different facial types. |
10.00 – 10.30 | Digital technology being used to increase the predictability of implant planning and placement. |
10.30 – 11.00 | Discussion on implementing a digital workflow exclusively in complex complete rehabilitation. |
11.00 -11.30 | Understanding an individualized approach to prosthetically enhance or restore dento-facial harmony with fixed complete mouth rehabilitation. |
11.30 – 12.00 | Guidelines will be given to recognise the different facial types and relevant orthodontic principles for a correct prosthetic rehabilitation will be explained. |
12.00 – 12.30 | Discussion on the most relevant criteria for treatment planning, VDO decision and treatment sequencing in full mouth reconstruction along with setting functional and esthetic guidelines. |

Dr. Emanuele Cicero
DDS, FACP
Bio:
Dr. Emanuele Cicero is a Former Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a specialist in Prosthodontics and completed his three year Post-doctoral advanced education training in Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). Upon completion of his specialty training, in recognition of his academic accomplishments, he had the honor of being selected as a full-time faculty member and appointed Assistant Professor at Tufts University where he contributed to evolving comprehensive dental education that integrates science, technology, patient needs, and lifelong learning in a worldclass environment. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dentistry. Dr. Emanuele Cicero lectures nationally and internationally.
