Dr. Bora Korkut

Dr. Bora Korkut graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. He had the ‘Ph.D.’ and ‘Restorative Dentistry Specialist’ titles in 2015. He has been working as an academic member as an Associate Professor at Marmara University, Dentistry Faculty, Department of Restorative Dentistry. He has many national and international scientific publications about direct and indirect restorations, pre-restorative clear aligners, tooth bleaching, clinical dental photography, tooth wear, Cad/Cam restorations, magnification in dentistry, and caries diagnosis & management. He is a certified Invisalign provider. He has participated as an instructor in more than 100 hands-on courses since 2015. Prof. Carlo Ercoli

Dr. Carlo Ercoli is Professor of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Implant Surgery and Chairman of the Prosthodontic Department at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health where he also serves as the Director for the Center of Excellence for Digital Dentistry and Associate Director for Strategy and Innovations. He graduated from the “Enrico Berlinguer” Dental Technology Institute in Rome in 1987 and obtained his DDS from the University of Siena, Italy in 1993. He specialized in Prosthodontics in 1996 at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York and completed a specialty training in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders in 1997. In 2012, he achieved specialty certification in Periodontology. In 2019, he obtained his MBA from the Simon Business School of the University of Rochester. Dr. Ercoli is a Past President of the American Prosthodontic Society.

Dr. Dimitrios Michelogiannakis

Dr. Dimitrios Michelogiannakis serves as an Associate Professor and Program Director at the Department of Orthodontics, Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), University of Rochester, NY. He received his dental degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Dentistry in 2012, and completed a 3-year specialty training program in Orthodontics and received a Master of Science degree in Dental Science in 2017 at EIOH. Dr. Michelogiannakis is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Michelogiannakis is the elected Chair of the Section on Orthodontics of the American Dental Education Association and the Secretary-Treasurer of the Society of Educators of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Nathaniel Simon Treister

Dr. Treister is Chief of the Division of Oral Medicine and Dentistry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Clinical Director of Oral Medicine and Oral Oncology at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Prof. Nikolaos Donos

Professor Nikos Donos is the Director of Research, Professor & Chair of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, at the Centre for Oral Clinical Research (COCR), Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). In 2024, Prof. Donos was awarded the prestigious International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist in Periodontal Disease Award and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) Distinguished Scientist Award. In 2011, he was presented with the IADR- Periodontology Group award in Periodontal Regenerative Medicine and in 2019 the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Clinical Research Award for his contribution as co-author. In 2004, Professor Donos was awarded the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO)- Basic Science Research Award. Prof. Donos has published more than 275 peer reviewed publications, is the editor of 5 textbooks and author/co-author of 15 book chapters in the field of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Ronaldo Hirata

Ronaldo Hirata is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomaterials at New York University, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Cariology. He has published over 100 papers in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. His first book, TIPS, was published in three languages, and his second book, SHORTCUTS, was also published in three languages. Dr. Hirata just launched his new book, "Recipes for Composite Restorations," from Quintessence Publishing in three languages, including English. This textbook provides "recipes" with the ingredients and instruments necessary to execute 26 restorations.

Prof. Sompop Bencharit

Dr. Sompop Bencharit is a leading figure in dentistry, serving as Professor, Associate Dean for Innovation, and Chief Innovation Officer at High Point University's Workman School of Dental Medicine. He previously held prominent roles at MUSC College of Dental Medicine and VCU. He earned his DDS and Diploma in Prosthodontics from Chulalongkorn University and advanced his studies at UNC-Chapel Hill, obtaining a Master’s and PhD in Prosthodontics and Oral Biology. A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, he is also a Fellow of the ACP, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and International College of Dentists. Prof. Vineet Dhar

Dr. Dhar is a clinical professor and chair of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry and assistant dean of postgraduate and professional studies at University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He currently serves as the Director of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). He also serves the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as Member of the Editorial Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the Evidence-Based Dentistry Committee, and as a Consultant of the Council on Scientific Affairs. Prof. Wei-Shao Lin

Dr. Wei-Shao Lin is a tenured Professor, Chair, at the Department of Prosthodontics; Co-Director of the ITI Scholarship Center, at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He received a DDS in 2003 from Chung-Shan Medical University, Taiwan; a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Certificate in Surgical Implant Fellowship at the University of Rochester in 2010. Dr. Lin also received PhD in Educational Leadership and Organization Development at the University of Louisville in 2020, and an MBA at the University of Southern Indiana in 2022. Dr. Lin has published more than 100 research and clinical articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Abdulaziz Alblaihess

Prof. Adnan Aslam

Prof. Adnan Aslam have worked at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Margalla Institute of Health Sciences-Margalla College of Dentistry/Margalla Dental Hospital, Rawalpindi; designated as Professor at the dental college and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the affiliated hospitals. He took his National Dental Boards, USA (Part I & II) in 2005 and also did a preceptor ship of 8 months at Oklahoma University, Health Science Centre, Oklahoma at the Department of Advanced education in general dentistry. Upon his return, Dr. Afeef joined fellowship training in the field of Orthodontics at KRL Hospital Islamabad, successfully finishing it in 2010. Dr. Afeef joined Islamabad Dental Hospital in Nov 2010 and was promoted to the position of Assistant professor at the department of Orthodontics in 2011. Currently he is heading the Department of Orthodontics at Margalla Institute of Health Sciences as a Professor. Dr. Ahmed Tarek Farouk

Dr. Tarek is a consultant in the field of restorative and esthetic dentistry. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, He continued his postgraduate studies and earned his Master’s degree in the field of conservative and esthetic dentistry from Cairo University. He then pursued his PhD at Cairo University and earned his certification in the same specialty. He currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Restorative Dentistry Department at Misr International University. Prof. Andrea Pilloni

Dr. Shahin is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in orthodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is actively involved in lecturing nationally and internationally on clear aligners. Dr. Shahin is a diamond II Invisalign provider and the first Invisalign speaker from the Middle East and he maintains a practice exclusively dedicated to clear aligner therapy using Invisalign. He is Vice Dean for Studies, Development and Community Service and Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University College of Dentistry. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Orthodontic Society. His research interests are in clear aligner therapy and CBCT superimposition.

Dr. Sultan Aldakhil

Dr. Sundar Ramalingam

Dr. Sundar Ramalingam is an Associate Consultant & Clinical Faculty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at the College of Dentistry and Dental University Hospital, King Saud University Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Originally from Chennai in the southern part of India, Dr. Sundar has lived in Saudi Arabia for almost 15 years, contributing to various academic, research, and clinical professional commitments. Throughout his career, Dr. Sundar has been associated with the three core pillars of medical and dental specialties: academics, clinical practice, and research. This has enabled him to widen his horizons of knowledge by sharing it and also seek answers to clinical challenges through research. With more than 50 publications and a handful of ongoing research projects, Dr. Sundar is one of his institution's highly cited staff members and sees that as an encouragement to move forward and achieve more. Dr. Sundar considers working with a team, among juniors or seniors, his best personal strength.

Dr. Taiseer Sulaiman

TAY-see-er SU-la-men is a Tenured Associate Professor and the Director of the Advanced Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials Research at the Adams School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his clinical certificate in Operative Dentistry and his PhD in Dental Materials from the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterial Sciences at the University of Turku in Finland in collaboration with the Department of Operative Dentistry at UNC. Dr. Sulaiman is a wet-handed clinician and a researcher who is passionate about bridging the gap between dental research and clinical application. Dr. Sulaiman’s research focus is on dental ceramics, adhesion, cements, color and appearance in dentistry, and biomimetics. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and book chapters. He has presented on numerous national and international stages and serves as a reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Vidya Sankar

DMD, MHS, RCSEd | USA

Dr. Sankar received her DMD, completed a GPR, and served as Staff Dentist in the Infectious Disease Clinic from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She practiced general dentistry in New Jersey prior to earning her Certificate in Oral Medicine from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. She was a recipient of the Sjögren’s Foundation Fellowship, received her Master’s in Health Science degree from Duke University and is certified by the American Board of Oral Medicine (ABOM) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Sankar’s is an Associate Professor, Division Director for Oral Medicine, and Program Director for the TUSDM Oral Medicine Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Previous positions include Oral Medicine Clinical Director with tenure at UTHSC San Antonio, Clinic Director Brigham and Women’s Hospital Oral Medicine and Dentistry clinic, Co-Director of the Oral Medicine and Oncology clinic at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She currently Immediate Past-President of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and she serves as Board member and Treasurer for the Sjogren’s Foundation.

Dr. Waleed Zaid

Dr. Zaid completed his undergraduate dental degree from Ajman University of science and technology and received his degree as a Doctor in Dental surgery. Dr. Zaid practiced as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgery trainee in multiple hospitals in the UAE until he moved to Montreal, Canada, where he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at McGill University. Dr. Zaid composed his master’s thesis on a topic related to head and neck oncology titled “In Vitro Effects of bisphosphonates on Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma,” which awarded him an MSc degree from McGill University. During that time, Dr. Zaid became a fellow of the Royal College in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after completing his Canadian Boards. Dr. Zaid went to Boston Medical center - Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine to complete his clinical head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction fellowship. Currently, he is the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at Our Lady of The Lake Regional Medical center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Dr. Yaser Alsahafi

Dr. Yasser Alali
