Dr. Bora Korkut

Dr. Bora Korkut graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. He had the ‘Ph.D.’ and ‘Restorative Dentistry Specialist’ titles in 2015. He has been working as an academic member as an Associate Professor at Marmara University, Dentistry Faculty, Department of Restorative Dentistry. He has many national and international scientific publications about direct and indirect restorations, pre-restorative clear aligners, tooth bleaching, clinical dental photography, tooth wear, Cad/Cam restorations, magnification in dentistry, and caries diagnosis & management. He is a certified Invisalign provider. He has participated as an instructor in more than 100 hands-on courses since 2015. Prof. Carlo Ercoli

Dr. Carlo Ercoli is Professor of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Implant Surgery and Chairman of the Prosthodontic Department at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health where he also serves as the Director for the Center of Excellence for Digital Dentistry and Associate Director for Strategy and Innovations. He graduated from the “Enrico Berlinguer” Dental Technology Institute in Rome in 1987 and obtained his DDS from the University of Siena, Italy in 1993. He specialized in Prosthodontics in 1996 at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York and completed a specialty training in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders in 1997. In 2012, he achieved specialty certification in Periodontology. In 2019, he obtained his MBA from the Simon Business School of the University of Rochester. Dr. Ercoli is a Past President of the American Prosthodontic Society.

Dr. Dimitrios Michelogiannakis

Dr. Dimitrios Michelogiannakis serves as an Associate Professor and Program Director at the Department of Orthodontics, Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), University of Rochester, NY. He received his dental degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Dentistry in 2012, and completed a 3-year specialty training program in Orthodontics and received a Master of Science degree in Dental Science in 2017 at EIOH. Dr. Michelogiannakis is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Michelogiannakis is the elected Chair of the Section on Orthodontics of the American Dental Education Association and the Secretary-Treasurer of the Society of Educators of the American Association of Orthodontists. Prof. Nikolaos Donos

Professor Nikos Donos is the Director of Research, Professor & Chair of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, at the Centre for Oral Clinical Research (COCR), Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). In 2024, Prof. Donos was awarded the prestigious International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist in Periodontal Disease Award and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) Distinguished Scientist Award. In 2011, he was presented with the IADR- Periodontology Group award in Periodontal Regenerative Medicine and in 2019 the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Clinical Research Award for his contribution as co-author. In 2004, Professor Donos was awarded the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO)- Basic Science Research Award. Prof. Donos has published more than 275 peer reviewed publications, is the editor of 5 textbooks and author/co-author of 15 book chapters in the field of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Ronaldo Hirata

Ronaldo Hirata is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomaterials at New York University, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Cariology. He has published over 100 papers in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. His first book, TIPS, was published in three languages, and his second book, SHORTCUTS, was also published in three languages. Dr. Hirata just launched his new book, "Recipes for Composite Restorations," from Quintessence Publishing in three languages, including English. This textbook provides "recipes" with the ingredients and instruments necessary to execute 26 restorations.

Prof. Sompop Bencharit

Dr. Sompop Bencharit is a leading figure in dentistry, serving as Professor, Associate Dean for Innovation, and Chief Innovation Officer at High Point University's Workman School of Dental Medicine. He previously held prominent roles at MUSC College of Dental Medicine and VCU. He earned his DDS and Diploma in Prosthodontics from Chulalongkorn University and advanced his studies at UNC-Chapel Hill, obtaining a Master’s and PhD in Prosthodontics and Oral Biology. A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, he is also a Fellow of the ACP, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and International College of Dentists. Prof. Vineet Dhar

Dr. Dhar is a clinical professor and chair of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry and assistant dean of postgraduate and professional studies at University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He currently serves as the Director of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). He also serves the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as Member of the Editorial Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the Evidence-Based Dentistry Committee, and as a Consultant of the Council on Scientific Affairs. Prof. Wei-Shao Lin

Dr. Wei-Shao Lin is a tenured Professor, Chair, at the Department of Prosthodontics; Co-Director of the ITI Scholarship Center, at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He received a DDS in 2003 from Chung-Shan Medical University, Taiwan; a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Certificate in Surgical Implant Fellowship at the University of Rochester in 2010. Dr. Lin also received PhD in Educational Leadership and Organization Development at the University of Louisville in 2020, and an MBA at the University of Southern Indiana in 2022. Dr. Lin has published more than 100 research and clinical articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Abdulaziz Alblaihess

Prof. Adnan Aslam

Upon his return, Dr. Afeef joined fellowship training in the field of Orthodontics at KRL Hospital Islamabad, successfully finishing it in 2010. Dr. Afeef joined Islamabad Dental Hospital in Nov 2010 and was promoted to the position of Assistant professor at the department of Orthodontics in 2011. Dr. Ahmed Tarek Farouk

Dr. Tarek is a consultant in the field of restorative and esthetic dentistry. Prof. Andrea Pilloni

He is the Professor Emeritus after his retirement in 2021. He is a Professor Emeritus at TMDU, and Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. He continues clinical, academic and educational activities as the director of Aoyama Quartz Dental Clinic. He is a prolific author who has contributed more than 500 papers to peer-reviewed international journals and some 200 papers to Japanese academic journals in the fields of cariology, tooth-colored dental restorative systems, the bonding of materials to dental tissues. His research on the mechanism and structure of caries is believed to be one of the most important background for achieving minimally invasive dentistry utilizing adhesive materials. The development of the Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT) for dental diagnosis and application for laboratory material testing is one of his outstanding achievements in the recent years. Because of his contribution in dental research and education, he was awarded Honorary Degrees from King's College of London and Mihidol University in Thailand, the Distinguished Scientist Award, Wilmer Souder Award, from IADR, and The President’s Award of Japanese Association of Dental Science.

TAY-see-er SU-la-men is a Tenured Associate Professor and the Director of the Advanced Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials Research at the Adams School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his clinical certificate in Operative Dentistry and his PhD in Dental Materials from the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterial Sciences at the University of Turku in Finland in collaboration with the Department of Operative Dentistry at UNC. Dr. Sulaiman is a wet-handed clinician and a researcher who is passionate about bridging the gap between dental research and clinical application. Dr. Sulaiman’s research focus is on dental ceramics, adhesion, cements, color and appearance in dentistry, and biomimetics. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and book chapters. Dr. Vidya Sankar

Dr. Sankar received her DMD, completed a GPR, and served as Staff Dentist in the Infectious Disease Clinic from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She practiced general dentistry in New Jersey prior to earning her Certificate in Oral Medicine from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. She was a recipient of the Sjögren’s Foundation Fellowship, received her Master’s in Health Science degree from Duke University and is certified by the American Board of Oral Medicine (ABOM) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Sankar’s is an Associate Professor, Division Director for Oral Medicine, and Program Director for the TUSDM Oral Medicine Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Previous positions include Oral Medicine Clinical Director with tenure at UTHSC San Antonio, Clinic Director Brigham and Women’s Hospital Oral Medicine and Dentistry clinic, Co-Director of the Oral Medicine and Oncology clinic at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
