  • Factors affecting the radiation dose incurred from a CBCT examination.
  • Factors affecting CBCT image quality.
  • Indications and limitations of CBCT imaging.
  • Principles of navigation of a CBCT reformatting software program, and criteria for suitably reformatted images for various maxillofacial diagnostic tasks.
  • How to obtain measurements from, store and transport CBCT images.
