POSTER TEMPLATE<\/a><\/p>\n

POSTER DISPLAY SCHEDULE<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text el_class=”article”]<\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Open to Dentists who are currently enrolled in a Specialty Training Program<\/strong> or who have obtained a postgraduate certificate within the last 18 months<\/strong>. A certificate or any proof letter must be attached.<\/li>\n
  • Electronic poster or E-Poster is similar to a traditional paper poster but displayed on a large LCD television screen. This is not a paper\/printed poster. It will be viewed at the E-Poster Stations throughout the Conference.<\/li>\n
  • Each E-Poster must be submitted as a single page PDF document with a size of 3840 pixels (Height) x 2160 pixels (Width) in Vertical\/Portrait Orientation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Abstract submission**<\/li>\n
    • A certificate or official letter of enrollment\/completion must be attached as proof (Mandatory).<\/li>\n
    • A full research manuscript (in non-thesis format) must accompany the abstract if you
      \nare running for the Award.<\/li>\n
    • A plagiarism report must be submitted if running for the award. The maximum allowed similarity index is 10% for Graduate Dentist Research manuscript submissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Abstract Submission Rules:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Submitters must be active SDS members from now until 29 November 2025.<\/li>\n
      • Abstracts must be submitted through the official online portal
        \nAbstract structure must include:<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Abstract should not exceed 300 words<\/li>\n
      • Must include: Title, Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusion<\/li>\n
      • Only original, unpublished work is accepted<\/li>\n
      • One submission per presenter<\/li>\n
      • All accepted posters must follow the official SIDC e-poster format (to follow the template provided by SDS).<\/li>\n
      • Blinded (no author names or affiliations) within the abstract<\/li>\n
      • Abstracts must be original: not previously published or presented<\/li>\n
      • Under exceptional circumstances, partially published data or submitted for
        \npublication research may be accepted with justification.<\/li>\n
      • Duplicate submissions (i.e., the same abstract submitted by multiple authors or submitted to multiple categories) will result in disqualification.<\/li>\n
      • A signed agreement form from all co-authors is required<\/li>\n
      • Plagiarized content or incomplete research will not be accepted.<\/li>\n
      • Abstracts will be reviewed as submitted by the deadline; no post-submission edits<\/strong>
        \nwill be allowed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Ethical & IRB Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • All research must be conducted following established ethical standards<\/strong>, evidence-based <\/strong>practice<\/strong>, and local regulations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Authors must confirm that their study obtained Institutional Review Board (IRB)<\/strong>
          \napproval<\/strong>, if applicable*<\/li>\n
        • IRB approval documentation may be requested at any stage of review or evaluation
          \nAny ethical violations or lack of documentation may result in exclusion from the
          \nprogram<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Submission Requirements (Post-Acceptance):<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • Accepted authors must submit:
            \no A PowerPoint presentation (PPT) for the Award finalist<\/strong>.
            \no A PDF version of the poster for the Award finalist and the poster display<\/strong>.
            \nWithin 2 weeks<\/strong> of the acceptance email
            \nLate submissions may lead to disqualification<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
