Minimal Intervention Dentistry: From micro to minimal invasive dentistry
Course Objectives:
- Learn the protocol to use resin infiltration on early enamel lesions and enamel opacities, due to fluorosis or hypo mineralization.
- Apply resin and glass ionomer cement-based sealants on prone pits and fissures.
- Understand and apply the fundamentals and strategies for selective carious tissue removal on models and apply high viscosity glass ionomer cement and restorative alternative.

Bio:
Dentist (DDS, 2009) and Master in Dentistry (2015) from Lima, Peru, PhD in Medical Science – Global Oral Health, Radboud University, The Netherlands (2019). President-elect of the Peruvian Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR, 2026–2028) and Professor in the Mini Residency in Minimal Intervention Dentistry at Indiana University, USA. Author of multiple papers and book chapters on Minimal Intervention Dentistry and Glass Ionomer Cements.
