- Compare the principles, advantages, and limitations of continuous rotation and reciprocation kinematics.
- Describe the design features and metallurgy that influence the performance of rotary and reciprocating files.
- Apply evidence-based decision-making in selecting appropriate instrumentation techniques for various clinical scenarios.
- Perform canal preparation using both kinematic systems with improved efficiency and safety.

Prof. Khaled Balto
BDS, DMSc
Bio:
Prof. Khaled Balto graduated from King Abdulaziz University, Faculty of Dentistry in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. He earned a Clinical Certificate of Endodontics and a degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine. He received the Krakow Award from Harvard University for outstanding research, clinical achievements and professionalism. Currently, he is a Professor and Consultant of Endodontics at King Abdulaziz University, Faculty of Dentistry in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
