I have worked 2 days a week in the Paediatric Dentistry Department of the University of
Athens Dental School as a scientific affiliate from 1995 to 2013. Some of the time is
spent at the undergraduate and some time at the post-graduate clinic. I also gave
lectures at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
Presently I work in part time at my private paediatric dentistry practice in Athens Greece
and at the private practice of Nicolas & Asp in Dubai, UAE.
I am currently Secretary of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry and Member of
the board of the Emirati Paediatric Dentistry Club.
I have served as Secretary and Vice-President of the Hellenic Society of Paediatric
Dentistry. I also have served as Executive Administrative Consultant to the President of
the National Organization for Health Insurance of the Public Sector Employees in Greece
since Jan 2012 – Dec 2013. My duties primarily involved the interaction with other public
sector organizations in order to merge our registry data and automate procedures for the
benefit of the public. In the past year the Organisation has developed automated
procedures for cross checking data with 4 other public sector organizations. I was also a
member in the 3-member designing committee that developed a pilot program that
issued smart cards to those insured by the Organisation. The pilot program involved the
design of the software and the cards that were issued not only to the insured but to the
personnel that provide health services. I have participated as Organising committee in
many National and International Congresses and seminars in Greece, in Europe and in
UAE. I have also participated as speaker in these National and International functions.
